I just spent a memorable evening at Bookbinder's. I hadn't been there in about 35 years, so when my lawyer suggested it for our victory party (we won a lawsuit) I was eager to try. I stuck to traditional favorites - snapper soup & a 3 pound lobster. Our server was a gem - very pleasant & knowledgable. Jon Voight was there - for the younger crowd, that's Angelina Jolie's father. Coffee was excellent. Just 1 gripe - the a la carte sides. I had $72 worth of lobster & my lawyer had surf and Turf for $42. Would it hurt them to put an ounce of cole slaw on the side w/o charging an extra $5?
